Can the spa accommodate multiple guests at one time?
We are happy to welcome clients who wish to come in together.
Ocean Essence is a smaller spa so only one of each type of service can be accommodated at a time.
In other words, one guest can be receiving one type of treatment while another guest receives a different treatment.
Do I need to wear anything specific for my treatment/therapy?
When receiving a massage you do not need to bring anything to wear.
You will be asked to undress to your comfort level.
You will be draped with sheets and blankets to maintain modesty. During a facial treatment you will also be comfortably underneath sheets and blankets. You can choose to use one of our wrap around robes in addition if you would prefer. If you are coming in for a spa pedicure you will want to be able to make your lower leg exposed for the foot bath and for product application.
You may also want to bring along your own pair of flip-flops for your comfort when leaving.
We have disposable flip-flops available for you,
and of course you are welcome to stay as long as you like to allow your polish to dry.
When receiving waxing or body treatments we have disposable garments for you to wear.
If you prefer to bring a bathing suit that is also an option.
What if I donít know what type of massage or facial I want/need?
Do not get too caught up in the descriptions of our services, we are here to make sure you receive what is best for you. Our massages and facials are customized to your specific needs and concerns, so just call us or come on in for your scheduled appointment and we will point you in the right direction for you.
Do I need to be concerned about the cleanliness of the tools being used during my treatments?
We understand and agree that cleanliness is a concern in beauty and health treatments.
All of our tools and implements are properly cleaned and sterilized between each use.
One-time use implements are disposed of after each client.
24 hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments to avoid being charged in full.
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment start time.
As a courtesy to our next guest, your treatment will end on time regardless of when you begin.
Full treatment price will be charged if your late arrival prevents us from accommodating your full service.
For the safety and consideration of our clients and employees,
only those receiving services will be permitted in the treatment areas.
Please turn off cellular phones and speak with a quiet voice.
We regret that that we can not be responsible for the loss and/or damage to personal items,
including clothing and/or accessories.
We are not responsible for lost or stole gift certificates.
All returned checks will incur a $25 service fee.
